Notes on battery disposal

Battery network (BATTG)

 Some of our products contain batteries or batteries, e.g. B. in shape of Button batteries that are necessary for the operation. In connection with the distribution of these batteries, we are obliged as a dealer according to the battery law (BATTG) to point out the following:

 

1. Duty to return of Old batteries

Batteries and batteries must not be disposed of via household waste. You are legally obliged to submit used batteries at a suitable collection point. Alternatively, you can send your old batteries back to us free of charge:

2. Meaning of the garbage can symbol

Batteries containing pollutants are marked with the symbol of a crossed -out garbage can. This symbol indicates that batteries do not belong in household waste. Chemical abbreviations for the pollutants contained are under the garbage can symbol:

PB: Battery contains lead

CD: Battery contains cadmium

Hg: Battery contains mercury

 

3. Safety note on button batteries

Products with button batteries pose a special risk because they can be swallowed. Always keep button batteries outside the range of Children on. If a battery swallows or gets into the airways, you will immediately look for medical help.
